Take a trip through time at Troy Historic Village and explore old homes, a school house, blacksmith shop and more. If you’re able to convince your kids to leave the rocks, the interpretive building is open to the public and kids can check out the aqua wall with live reptiles and amphibians, an observation beehive, and many other wildlife displays. Stage Nature Center is one of our families’ favorite places to visit and the large climbing rocks at the front of the front lawn of the building are part of the reason why. Jaycee Park has a new playground and your littles will love climbing, sliding and playing – there’s also a Mommy + Me swing! Jaycee Park also has two ball diamonds, two full-size and six small soccer fields, sand volleyball court, a picnic shelter, and restrooms. ![]() The high ropes course is 42,000 square feet and has over 40 elements including rappelling station, rock walls and more for kids 8 years and older. Kids ages 2 to 7 will love the Munchkin Ropes Course that includes climbing obstacles, zip lines and more. ![]() Troy Gymnastics is a great place for kids classes and child care but the ropes courses steal the show these days.
